“Background is not everything; your mindset is”
Before Per joined SCALES, he worked for the Danish Defence and had received management training, which he benefits from in his job as a Project Manager at SCALES. Per values the diversity of the staff group and is impressed with the fact that you don’t necessarily need a university degree to be a part of SCALES; relevant experience is equally important.
“One of my favourite topics is code quality”
As a technical solution architect with SCALES, Kasper takes pride in delivering high-quality technical solutions. High code quality makes it easier for clients to keep their systems up-to-date. Kasper loves the fact that SCALES’ project approach reflects our values. He is particularly happy with our honest and professional work culture and constant focus on doing better. He says: “SCALES is a great place to grow. You need to bear in mind that what we are selling is knowledge, and if that knowledge does not stay up-to-date and grows, our value as employees and as a business will dwindle.”
“My mentor was a real cheerleader who set a great example”
Signe joined SCALES as a developer graduate in 2022, and she has benefitted a lot from the mentor programme. At SCALES, all graduates get a mentor who acts as a personal coach. Signe says: “My mentor did a great job of supporting my ongoing professional progression by giving me more and more complex tasks.” The mentor programme has helped support Signe’s personal and professional development at an appropriate pace.
“It is really a great place to work”
As project manager of a team of developers, Anis solves a lot of different tasks and problems. He also enjoys interacting with clients and working on-site with them. At the moment, he is part of a large-scale project that is about to go live, and he thinks it has been stimulating to cooperate with people from all over the world on developing a functional solution.
“We are good at going the extra mile to help each other”
The team spirit and work culture at SCALES are some of the things Nina enjoys the most. She joined SCALES as a functional consultant graduate in 2021, and since then she has grown a lot professionally. Nina also enjoys participating in the many social events at SCALES, and so do her colleagues. Fun activities like pop tennis, cooking classes and petanque help support the good working relationships. Nina also likes the fact that SCALES is a part of NNIT Young Professional, expanding both the professional and social networks.
