At SCALES, we take employee well-being seriously.

We have worked with one-on-one conversations, well-being surveys, and workplace representatives, but we have realized that these measures are not always enough to catch the early signs of distress.

So, we asked ourselves: What more can we do?

We want to act quickly and proactively—not just identify problems but address them before they escalate.
That’s why we have implemented Howdy as an additional tool in our toolbox.
The algorithm in the Howdy app anonymously “screens” well-being and helps detect if something is not as it should be.

If the system is triggered, a response team consisting of occupational psychologists reaches out—sometimes, a short conversation is all it takes to address a challenge.

In cases where more support is needed, we can refer employees to our health insurance, which includes access to psychological counseling.

For us, well-being is about being proactive—both at the individual level and as an organization.
We can work preventively and support both employees and leaders who notice a downward trend in their team’s well-being.

We take responsibility before challenges grow—because well-being is essential for both a good work life and personal life.
