It is now possible to assess the security of supply using data in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
Supply risk assessment provides insight into supplier performance and related risks. It comes with inbuilt reports (PowerBI) for further performance and risk analysis.
This version of the functionality focusses on the supply performance of suppliers. Among other things, it provides information on the following:

  • ‘Late confirmed’: Number of purchase order lines for which the supplier has confirmed a delivery date (CDD) that is later than the requested delivery date (RDD)
  • ’Not on time’: Number of purchase order lines which have not been delivered on time (OT)
  • ’Not in full’: Number of purchase order lines which have not been delivered in full (IF).
  • ’Single sourced’: Number of products for which the purchase order from the planning function only includes one supplier (may suggest a risk).
